San Miguel de Allende is considered to be a cultural center and has many activities for students to participate in, both indoors
and out.
Local activities include swimming in the hot springs and local pools,
hiking at the botanical gardens, rock climbing, and exploring the town. Students can also shop at boutiques and the local
artists' market, take dance lessons or enjoy the local music, art, and writing scene. San Miguel, small and safe as it
is, is a major cultural center in Mexico.
Day and weekend trips are also available and may include the pyramids,
nearby historic cities, beaches, climbing and and ecolotourism.
